Emily's Herbal Ice Skin Soothing Soap

Emily Skin Soothers products were developed by Mike Arsenault a Chinese Medicine Practitioner and father after the birth of his daughter Emily.  Emily was born in March 2006. She was perfect in every way, but on her cheeks, she would get raised red bumps. On occasion, there were severe flare-ups and it would affect her neck and chin. She also would get dry red spots on her limbs. Eventually, her pediatrician determined Emily had baby eczema. As a concerned dad and an experienced acupuncturist and herbalist, Mike didn't want to use steroids or anything harsh on his baby’s skin. So, he created these products with no other intention than of helping his baby. They are creations born of a father’s love.

Mike uses only high-quality herbs that are sulfur and preservative free.

Based on herbal formulas that were tried and true, and hundreds of years old.

Emily's skin soother worked so well that Mike began to use them on his patients and colleagues. The feedback was so amazing (see testimonials).

If an error has occurred when placing your order, please email me laura@laurabicker.co.uk to amend or correct the order. If the order has already been dispatched, you will be liable for the cost of delivery and return delivery. Please view our refund policy for further details.

Returns policy

I operate with very strict hygiene policies at Laura Bicker, particularly in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. In line with those policies any returned items used or unused would have to be destroyed. We feel that encouraging a returns culture would be wasteful and against our commitment to operating a sustainable business. Therefore, in accordance with our ethos and due to the often bespoke or handmade nature of our products, I encourage you to research these products before making a purchase.

If you need to make a return, please contact me within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return. (The delivery date recorded by our delivery partner will be considered as the delivery date). I only accept unused and unopened returns. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please note that in event a refund is facilitated, I do not refund shipping charges or customs duties.

Damaged shipments

Every care is taken when packing orders to minimise any damage during shipping. When your order arrives, please inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process. It is normal for the outer package to show some wear and tear; however, if there is damage to the item(s) in your shipment, please notify me within seven days and I will endeavour to take care of you. Please include your order number in the email, and retain the shipping box, packaging materials and damaged items. No returns/refunds will be granted following the seven days after delivery. We also ask that you contact the carrier to file a complaint regarding the damaged package.

Please be patient with delivery I have a wonderful post office, but Royal Mail can be temperamental. If you do not receive your item 2-3 days after the shipping notification please get in contact. The majority of cases have no issue, but some areas in the UK are affected by severe backlogs. This is beyond my control. If you need an item within a specific time frame or to a location outside the UK please contact me before ordering and I am happy to use other courier services such as Evri.

Every one of the products available is either lovingly handmade by my own fair hands or produced to order in small batches for maximum freshness.

Packages typically ship within 2-3 working days of us receiving your order. Please allow another 3-5 business days for your destination. International delivery from UK may take an additional 8 working days. Any additional custom delays are unfortunately out of my control.

Laura Bicker is not responsible for any delays incurred due to local or international customs issues, nor any additional duties of taxes your country may require. We recommend familiarising yourself with your local import policies prior to ordering.
